Genasun GV-5 Lead-Acid: Advanced Solar Charge Controller for Unmatched

Performance

Mission-Critical Reliability for Extreme Conditions

Discover unmatched reliability with the Genasun GV-5 Solar Charge Controller, designed for lithium batteries. Deployed in the most remote and challenging locations on Earth, this USA-made controller endures extreme conditions, from harsh Antarctic winters to the upper atmosphere. Each unit undergoes rigorous electrical testing, ensuring it's ready for your mission-critical power needs.

Innovative Ceramic Technology for Longevity

Genasun sets a new standard in controller reliability with its ceramic, electrolytic-free design. Traditional controllers degrade over time due to fluid electrolytes that evaporate in heat. The Genasun GV-5, free from these vulnerabilities, boasts an industry-leading 10-year warranty, ensuring enduring performance without heat wear-out.

High-Speed MPPT for Optimal Energy Harvest

Experience the most efficient power point tracking with Genasun's advanced MPPT technology. Unlike typical controllers that perform voltage range sweeps every 30-60 seconds, the GV-5 adapts to changing light conditions 20 times per second, ensuring maximum energy harvest even during cloud cover or shade.

Advanced Lithium Charging for Maximum Battery Life

Benefit from Genasun's nine years of experience in lithium battery technology. Our tailored charging algorithms extend your battery's capacity and cycle life, making the GV-5 a smart investment for your energy system.

Excellence in Power Management and Protection

The GV-5 is not just a charge controller – it's a complete power management solution. It maximizes solar power collection, extends battery life, and provides smooth, filtered power for your load. Its steady power source ensures reliability in unpredictable conditions, making it ideal for both off-grid and urban applications.

Designed for Safety and Ease of Use

Advanced error protections guard against common mishaps like reverse polarity or short circuits. The controller's fault tolerance features include electronic reverse-battery and panel protection, and load short-circuit protection, ensuring safety and peace of mind.

Exceptionally Low Power Consumption for Storm Survival

The Genasun GV-5 stands out with its extraordinarily low power burn. In standby mode, it consumes just 0.125mA, and under low light conditions while charging, less than 0.2mA. This efficiency is crucial for enduring periods of minimal sunlight, such as during a snow-covered panel or extended cloudy weather, ensuring your system remains functional.

Enhanced Performance in Partial Shade

In urban or partially shaded environments, the Genasun GV-5 excels where others falter. Its advanced MPPT technology boosts power output by up to 50% in partial shade conditions, mitigating the effects of obstructions like tree branches or incidental shading from pedestrian activities. This feature is essential for maintaining consistent power in in-city applications.

Durable Design with No Fans or Relays

Designed for longevity, the Genasun GV-5 eliminates the need for fans and relays – components that are prone to wear and failure. This advanced electrical design enhances durability, ensuring the controller outlasts conventional models.

Elimination of Radio Frequency Interference

Genasun has meticulously engineered the GV-5 to eliminate radio frequency noise, a common issue in many MPPT controllers. This attention to detail ensures energy efficiency and prevents interference with nearby electronics, achieving exceptional FCC compliance. During third-party testing of the GV-5 for FCC compliance, the test engineer asked us, “Is it on?” Mission accomplished.

Embrace the Genasun GV-5 for a solar charge controller that epitomizes efficiency, reliability, and adaptability, perfect for keeping your system operational in any condition.
